Miss Rodeo America with Montana Silversmiths

The Western way of life is one of endurance, of keeping on when things get tough, whether it is weathering storms or weathering pandemics we know how to buckle down and persevere. But as we have discovered in the last six months persevering is not enough, we must find a way to not just survive but thrive in a world that looks different than it did a year ago.

Montana Silversmiths has discovered that the relationships formed in year’s past offered a great deal of support during this unexpected time.

Montana Silversmiths and Miss Rodeo America have partnered since 2001. Each Miss Rodeo America brings a distinct look and personality to her reign. This year’s Miss Rodeo America, Jordan Tierney came out this June for a photoshoot. Each year MRA is featured in a Montana Silversmiths catalog and while this year looks a bit different than year’s past, we were able to have Jordan and her parents here for a full day.

As part of the photoshoot this year we included Jordan’s mom and dad, Robin and Paul Tierney.  Jordan’s parents have their own history and story within the western world with Robin being a former Miss South Dakota and final runner for Miss Rodeo America and Paul a 3x World champion.  As ranchers in South Dakota they understand the idea of persevering and learning to thrive amongst challenging surroundings. This photo shoot enabled us to tell the story of family, the legacy that binds not only their family but the western lifestyle, it is times like these that make such a simple occurrence mean so much. 

The relationships we form, personal or business, are more important than ever. We are stronger together. Miss Rodeo America, past, present, and future are leaders within communities throughout this nation sharing the western lifestyle and pride of rodeo. They are representatives of the sport and help to influence, through their voice and presence as an articulate, smart, and talented leader in their position as ambassador of ProRodeo’, and for Montana Silversmiths through our partnership supporting and educating others about our western brand and lifestyle, with authenticity, beauty and grace.
