To be a meaningful part of the present we must invest in the future. Montana Silversmiths believes in supporting those who strive for excellence in all aspects of life and community.
This year, in a year unlike any other, Montana Silversmiths is incredibly pleased to award 6 scholarships!
With so much happening in the world, it is even more important to keep an eye on the future and to help support where able. Montana Silversmiths, like so many, has experienced the ups and downs that most businesses have gone through recently. That makes this year's recipients all the more meaningful to Montana Silversmiths, as we look toward the future for our company and the world around us.
As part of the application process, we asked what the pursuit of excellence means to them. The answers we received were so rewarding and uplifting, here are a couple of our favorites;
'The pursuit of excellence to me is not only striving to pursue a goal but it’s the struggle, it’s not a guaranteed thing. There will be ups and downs, good times and bad but, it’s how you work through that struggle that makes your goal a reality.'- Delaney
Through my ‘Pursuit of Excellence”, I have realized that I improve myself more by working to benefit others' - Tyler
'when it comes to pursuing ‘excellence’ in particular it is not a matter of waiting until you are older, wiser, or more qualified to achieve success but it is rather a driving force of initiative and dedication that gets you there.'- Ashley
'To me “Pursuit of Excellence” is the code that builds America. The Pursuit of Excellence is a conscious, everyday choice to be better today than you were yesterday. It’s a mentality that comes in the way you treat others and look out for those around you.' -Ty
A little history on the Pursuit of Excellence Scholarship
Since 2005, the Pursuit of Excellence Scholarship program was created to give back as an investment in candidates who have a history of self-improvement and a desire to better themselves and their communities in which they live. This scholarship is unique, in the fact that the recipients are not being rewarded for having the best grades or possessing the most athletic ability but celebrates the student with a desire to become the best that they can be; individuals that are in the "Pursuit of Excellence."
