International Women's Day 2021

To be a woman means so much.

It means early mornings to get the household ready for the day. It means wishing there were more hours in the day. Sometimes, it means a thankless role. It means having superpowers. It means transforming your looks from ranch chores to fancy dinners in a matter of minutes. It means trials and errors in more than just makeup. It means thinking of everyone but yourself.

International Women's Day is celebrated every year on March 8th.

If you’re not familiar with it, International Women's Day began in the early 1900s and is “a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality,” according to the official website.

We wish we had the ability to tell all women, mother's, grandmothers, daughters, aunts, and friends just how special their presence in our lives is to us. To be woman means to hold the soul of your community, to be the finely woven thread that holds it all together and makes the world continue spinning.

To honor this day and yourself, treat yourself to some jewelry, tag your women besties, and watch the #IWD highlights on our Instagram and Facebook @montana.silversmiths

“Here’s to strong women: May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them.”
