The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) is the premier organization of sanctioned rodeo venues and events throughout North America. Montana Silversmiths is extremely proud to be the “Official Silversmiths of PRCA” since 1999 crafting the highest-level trophy buckles in our industry and offering PRCA members quality awards. PRCA champion earn what they win; it’s a passion, every buckle is important.
Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (WNFR)
The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, organized by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, is the premier championship rodeo event in the United States. The NFR showcases the talents of the PRCA's top 15 money-winners in each event as they compete for the world title in Las Vegas, NV each December for 10 days and vie for the coveted Montana Silversmiths World Champion Gold buckle. Since the year 2000, Montana Silversmiths has sponsored and hand crafted hundreds of the finest buckles in western industry for the pinnacle event in rodeo.
Miss Rodeo America (MRA)
For over 64 years, Miss Rodeo America has traveled the length and breadth of our country, promoting and representing the great sport of professional rodeo and the western way of life. Montana Silversmiths first partnered with Miss Rodeo America, Inc., in August of 2001 as a major sponsor of the organization.
National Reining Horse Association (NRHA)
Founded in 1966, the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) is an organization dedicated to the promotion of the reining horse. It serves as the standard setting body for the sport of Reining worldwide. Montana Silversmiths is a proud partner of National Reining Horse Association as the “Official Silversmiths of NRHA.”
Professional Bull Riders Association (PBR)
Headquartered in Colorado., the Professional Bull Riders, Inc. was created in 1992 when a group of 20 visionary bull riders broke away from the traditional rodeo scene seeking mainstream attention for the sport of professional bull riding. They felt that, as the most popular event at a rodeo, bull riding deserved to be in the limelight and could easily stand alone. Montana Silversmiths is proud to be the Official Silversmiths of Professional Bull Riders (PBR), hand-crafting one-of-a-kind World Class PBR award buckles and creating PBR branded buckles and jewelry for fans.
National Little Britches Association (NLBRA)
The NLBRA is one of the oldest youth rodeo associations in the U.S. Student athletes range in age from 5-19 and compete in 33 events at over 500 rodeos annually. Montana Silversmiths signed on as a National Sponsor in 2014 as the Official Silversmiths of the NLBRA.
Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association (CMSA)
Cowboy Mounted Shooting® is one of the nation’s fastest growing equestrian sports. Mounted contestants compete in this fast action timed event using two .45 caliber single action revolvers each loaded with five rounds of specially prepared blank ammunition. Courses of fire are set in a variety of patterns. Montana Silversmiths has been Official Silversmiths and Corporate Partner of CMSA since 2005.
Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF)
The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation was founded in 1984 by four hunters from Troy, Montana who wanted to ensure a future for North America’s grandest game animal. The mission of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation is to ensure the future of elk, other wildlife, their habitat and our hunting heritage. Montana Silversmiths is aligned with RMEF as a premier sponsor of the Event Merchandise & Underwriting Catalog and produces the official banquet buckles and jewelry for Chapter fundraising across the U.S.
All American Quarter Horse Congress (OQHA)
The Congress is known as the world’s largest single-breed horse show, boasting more than 24,500 entries annually and housing nearly 6,000 registered American Quarter Horses during its three-week duration in Columbus, Ohio in the month of October. In 2012, Montana Silversmiths and the Ohio Quarter Horse Association signed a Corporate Partnership which recognizes Montana Silversmiths as a major sponsor of the National Youth Activities Team Tournament, which is the largest National Youth Team Tournament competition in the world. Montana Silversmiths sponsors over 400 Gold and Silver award buckles during the Quarter Horse Congress.
Appaloosa Horse Club (ApHC)
Appaloosa Horse Club (ApHC) is an international breed registry serving members and Appaloosa enthusiasts by recording and preserving the horses' heritage and history, and by providing services that promote, enhance and improve the Appaloosa. Montana Silversmiths is the official Buckle Maker and Gold Corporate Partner of ApHC, providing jewelry, buckles and commemorative items for ApHC members, chartered regional clubs and ApHC events.
Women's Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA)
World Championship Barrel Racing is brought to you by The Women's Professional Rodeo Association which was formed in 1948 when thirty-eight cowgirls came together to create an organization dedicated to the promotion and advancement of women in the sport of rodeo. The WPRA features barrel racing and roping events as well as a junior and futurity/derby division. The WPRA is the oldest women’s sports association in the country and the only one governed entirely by women. Montana Silversmiths is proud to be the Official Silversmiths of Women’s Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA). Hand-crafting the one-of-a-kind World Class WPRA award buckles and creating other WPRA custom-made belt buckles.
International Professional Rodeo Association (IPRA)
The International Professional Rodeo Association (IPRA) has been sanctioning professional rodeos since 1957. The IPRA is proud to award our Champions Montana Silversmiths buckles and proud to recognize Montana Silversmiths as the “Official Silversmiths of the IPRA”. The IPRA sanctions hundreds of rodeos across North America each year.
United States Team Penning Association (USTPA)
The USTPA is the National Governing Body for the sports of Team Penning and Ranch Sorting. As the only international non-profit Association in the sports, the USTPA was formed in 1993 and now proudly represents Team Penners and Ranch Sorters from around the world. As a membership-based organization, the USTPA represents riders off all ages and riding abilities. Montana Silversmiths has served as the exclusive buckle provider to the USTPA World Championships and has remained the Official Belt Buckle of the USTPA since 2016.
All Star Team Roping
All Star Team Roping is a new and exciting format that is designed by team ropers to put the contestants FIRST and the producers SECOND. ASTR has taken the finest points of western sports associations and combined them to create an ALL STAR lineup. Montana Silversmiths exclusive sponsorship of regular season events and ASTR finals started with partnership agreement in 2017.
