Warranty & Returns Policy
Online purchases may be returned within 30 days directly to Montana Silversmiths only. Refunds are issued to the original credit card used for payment. You will need:
- A Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA). Please call our consumer hotline at 800-634-4830 to get one.
- A printout of your purchase receipt
- All original product packaging
Online orders shipped as gifts may be returned for an online-store credit. Purchase order numbers are required (available on the packing slip). If you don't have the purchase order number available, please call our consumer hotline for assistance.
Purchases made at an authorized independent Montana Silversmiths dealer may be repaired or replaced by Montana Silversmiths at our discretion. Warranty guidelines apply to requests by consumers for returned product due to manufacturer's defect discovered after purchase and/or the scope of product warranty due to normal wear and tear.
How To Return Merchandise
To return merchandise, please call customer service at 800-634-4830 for a Returned Merchandise Authorization number (RMA). When shipping products, we suggest sending items with a tracking number. (UPS, FedEx, etc.). Make sure your RMA number is clearly labeled on the outside of the box. Please include your contact information inside the box.

Items that have been resized, damaged or otherwise altered after delivery will not be accepted for return.
Most returns are processed in 4-6 weeks. Return status updates are issued by email after the items are processed by our returns department.
Warranty Policy
Watches:
All watches have a one (1) year limited warranty on manufacturing defects when accompanied by a receipt. All Montana Silversmiths watches MUST be sent in for evaluation.
Leather, Crystals and Batteries are NOT covered under the warranty.

Jewelry:
All jewelry has a lifetime limited warranty on manufacturing defects when accompanied by a receipt.
Jewelry refinishing or replacement due to normal wear and tear, $20
Buckles:
Montana Silversmiths Trophy and Western buckles have a lifetime limited warranty on manufacturing defects when accompanied by a receipt. Attitude buckles have a 1 year limited warranty on manufacturing defects when accompanied by a receipt. All buckles MUST be sent in for evaluation.
New custom buckles that have engraving or raised letter errors will have to be remade. Errors made by Montana Silversmiths are the responsibility of Montana Silversmiths and will be remade at our cost. Errors on behalf of the dealer/consumer will be charged a minimum $40.00 fee to remake the buckle, PLUS the cost of all engraving and/or raised letters.
Normal fees apply for buckles returned for refinishing due to normal wear and tear.

We are unable to change a figure or initial on an item.
Knives:
All Montana Silversmiths knives have a sixty (60) day limited warranty on manufacturing defects when accompanied by a receipt. All knives MUST be sent in for evaluation.
Lifestyles & Home Decor:
All Montana Silversmiths Lifestyles & Home Décor products have a sixty (60) day limited warranty on manufacturing defects when accompanied by a receipt.
