Montana Silversmiths' modern production facility is located on the southern
edge of Columbus, Montana, and within a few feet of the Yellowstone River. The
business philosophy at Montana Silversmiths has always included creativity,
innovation, passion and hard work as cornerstones. Since its beginning in 1973,
Montana Silversmiths has grown even faster than the rest of the Western apparel
industry. As a result, Montana Silversmiths is now the largest manufacturer of
its type in the United States, with dealer-partners in all 50 states and in
many foreign countries. Buckles and other accessories, from Montana
Silversmiths, are worn by working cowboys, cowgirls, and horse enthusiasts
everywhere. Our business has come a long way, but it is still known in hometown
Columbus as "the buckle shop".
